Lessons
Our Philosophy
The goal of our lesson program is to teach each student how to ride effectively and with beautiful equitation. Students benefit from learning how to groom, tack and handle their horse on the ground. Our desire is that our students are well rounded riders who know what it takes to succeed on the back of a horse, in the barn and in life.
We strive to have a friendly barn environment and we encourage friendships between our students. We host fun play days for our students as well as schooling shows.
We specialize in Western, English, Dressage, and offer lessons to all ages and skill levels. We have a string of quality lesson horses for you to ride as well as horses for lease. You may also bring your own horse to your lesson.
We can also help you achieve your goals of showing, from schooling shows to the highest levels of competition. As a competitive show barn, we are always striving to help riders reach their equine goals.
Our Instructors
Megan Gallagher found her passion for training and showing in her junior exhibitor days.
She loves teaching students how to ride and understand their horse. She enjoys building a relationship between horse and rider. And believes students need to know how to care for the horse and handle them on the ground.
Allison Gillard has ridden competitively for almost 30 years and has instructed riders since the age of 18. She believes the lessons learned on the back of a horse and in the show ring are invaluable.
She aims to teach beautiful and effective equitation in a way riders can understand. Allison loves to help her riders learn their horses buttons and put together a successful ride.
Tamara Meeks is a pleasure horse trainer with over 35 years experience showing, training and teaching both youth and adult riders. Zola Wheeler has trained with the likes of Pamela Nelson, Franz Rochavansky, and Melle Van Bruggen and competed at the highest levels. She has done everything from Western to Hunter/Jumpers with her specialty being Dressage.
